Highlight of my day

There's an old man who lives on my floor in 600 who has the sweetest nurse, and this man is the most ridiculous individual, notorious for saying the most outrageous things ranging from "You're prettier than this elevator!" to "You penis!" (directed at his nurse). I had the great pleasure of waiting for the elevator with him today. As I was trying to avoid eye contact (as to avoid starting the day off on the wrong foot), but he started making these grand gestures that caught my attention. When he suddenly exclaimed, "Broadway dancer?!" Haha. I shook my head and said, "Mmm, no. Sorry." To which he replied, "Oh. Well, you're pretty anyway!" I think maybe he's just lonely and misunderstood.
